Kanji Yumisashi（Japan）

東京都為據點生活與工作
以「自殺」和「慰靈」為主題持續創作。從名古屋學藝大學研究所畢業後，和學生時代的友人在名古屋創立了影像製作公司。之後辭掉了負責人一職來到東京，2015年當他以原隆卡奧斯*拉烏治新藝術學校的第一期生身分就讀時，母親在交通事故後出現身心失調而自殺了。母親出殯前腦子浮現出「帶著金環的鳥的圖案」，之後成為他製作作品中經常出現的表現核心。從2021年開始了以「滿洲國」為軸心研討過去戰爭的活動。

Continue to create with the themes of "suicide" and "consolation". After graduating from Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences, he started a video production company in Nagoya with his student friends. After resigning as a representative, he moved to Tokyo, and in 2015, when he was studying as the first student of Genron Chaos * Lounge New Art School, his mother, who had lost his physical and mental balance after a traffic accident, died on his own. A "bird motif with a ring" emerged before the casket, and it is the core of his expression that appears repeatedly in many subsequent works. From 2021, a project to think about past wars centered on "Manchuria" was started.
