作家は奥能登に伝承する農耕儀礼「あえのこと」や地域の土の記憶をリサーチし、「大蔵ざらえ」で集まった民具の声をテーマとしたインスタレーションを行った。現実と記憶の異空間を橋渡しする存在として箪笥の引き出しに着目し、「記憶を持った民具」、「記憶の堆積としての土」、「儀式に使用されたもの」などを展示。

Based on research on Aenokoto and conversations with local people relating to the soil’s memory, this installation was developed using material “items and evidence” from the Okura Zarae. The artists also stage a performance based on the concept of a “festival” of people and things. With the sense of isolation created by the pandemic in mind, a common wish develops into a story by questioning the ideal future society.
